My Bio
Okay, so here goes: I do all kinds of strange art and design stuff and moonlight as a film maker in Austin, TX. I have a day job too so I try to find time for art and all the other stuff. If I was a single girl in the big city, this would all make for some excellent television. But I'm a guy, so no dice. I do art for my own amusement, but am not at all opposed to requests or commi$$ions. Feel free to poke around and leave comments, ask questions or whatever. If you want some quick snipits of information, I have some for you:
Base of Operations: Austin, TX
Schoolin': University of Texas at Austin, Bachelors of Science--Radio, Television & Film
Strengths: caricature, portraiture, logo & design replication
Weaknesses: backgrounds, eyeballs, 3-point perspective (basically the stuff that could land me regular work)
Influences: Patrick Nagel, H. R. Giger, Jim Lee, Clive Barker, Anton Furst, Tim Burton, Morissey... the list goes on
Favorite Writers: Carl Sagan, Chuck Palahniuk, Bret Easton Ellis, Alan Moore, Frank Herbert...
That's all I got for now. Check back for more. Have good one.

The notes still reverberate in my vertebrae. A mechanical resonance gives way to an internal cacophony. Sound, light, time all swim in my stomach. I do my best not to regurgitate the memories. These sensations I must digest. This haunting melody is mine to inhale.   I take a deep breath.   Electricity is in the air. A mist of music cools my sunburnt face. An eastern wind brings fragrances of discord. Chaos hangs over us all. I'm living under Citizen Kane's ceiling. From somewhere I can't see, the echoes of a dying man approach, assault and abscond.   I cover my ears.   Streetlamps look overly-ornate. Cars look like bars of new soap. How does

Good God, man!

So, the "Sagan" desktop thingie I made is tearing up the interwebs right now.  Never would have imagined that a 30 second Photoshop distraction could become so viral.  Thank you to everyone who has at the most "Favourited" (her Majesty's English is intentional) and at the least looked at it.  You all make what I do that much more fulfilling to me.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  On this note, I am currently reading "Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors" by Carl Sagan and Anne Druyan.  Thoroughly enjoying this book.  I can already see how writing this prompted Dr. Sagan to draft "The Demon-Haunted World: Science as a Candle in the Dark."  T

Up too late (again). Simply cannot sleep to save my life. The schedule is in a shambles. The process subverted somehow. No room between the ever-advancing wall of time--the numbers "5:30am" carved in deeply ornate runes on its tomb-stoned surface--and the predicament that is the present. How to be productive at this juncture? Any and all paths lead to noisome revelry or some mad and fruitless errand. The consequences, no doubt, will force my hand when the electric rooster sings his shrill song in the dark morning to a series of pointless and poorly-rationalized applications of the snooze button. Every one of them purchased with the ultimate c

More Better Stuff!*

I put up some more art so check it out if you're bored. Some of it is real rough and has an unfinished feel to it while other pieces are pretty slick. Let me know what you think.

Who's your buddy?
